Anyone travelling for work will tell you that staying at hotels is not some exciting adventure. Its a necessity.

To be quite honest after a few years of staying at hotels, the thrill melts away and you just want them to get things right.

A stay at the Sankara Hotel last week actually brought back the thrill of staying over at a hotel.. for business. My room was booked to specification, everything was set up as I asked and I even had my wake up call on time as well as the car to drop me off at the conference.

The help dint stand around expecting tips and the internet was very impressive. In fact, I can say with all conviction that the Sankara Hotel outshines several 5 star hotels around the world.

My meals were served in my room and lets just say the portions are quite impressive, most hotels thing smaller portions mean the meal is good.

I will difinitely try a stay for my vacation here again

the striking ambiance of the hotel grasps you the moment you drive in, from the security, to they friendly host, to the staff and the 7 storeys up ride to the ROOFTOP!!!!

The Sankara mixes Asian design influences with local African elements and creates a unique hotel experience - something which is often missing in a world of bland and functional utilitarianism.

Its divine! some of they most amazing parties have been held here ranging from trance, house, techno, dance with renowned international- local based DJs Jean Marie and Cortega.. JUST DANCE BABY!!! (thank goodness there haven't been instances where people jump into the pool in a drunken stupor!

If you are visiting Nairobi, this is a MUST-SE, have dinner, sun-downers, even staying there for a short stay ( aint the cheapest hotel in town) BUT DE-FO worth checking out!!!!
